The Mother of To Do Lists

I was reading over at Joelle’s today and she mentioned the AFI’s 100 Greatest Movies. I thought I would take a peak and see how “cultured” I am when it comes to movies. I have crossed out those I have already seen and will make it my personal goal to watch the rest (Honey, I hope you are ready for this!):

1. CITIZEN KANE (1941)

2. CASABLANCA (1942)

3. THE GODFATHER (1972)

4. GONE WITH THE WIND (1939)

5. LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962)

6. THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939)

7. THE GRADUATE (1967)

8. ON THE WATERFRONT (1954)

9. SCHINDLER’S LIST (1993)

10. SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (1952)

  1. But you are adorable when you do it, so its all well and good.

As for the movie nights, you girls just say the word and I am there!

  2. Oh goodie – then lets do this soon – and we should all plan to go see Crash together – that looks like a really good movie!
…you know – I now realize that I might overuse exclamation marks and smiley faces when I type…I sound very excitable 🙂

  3. Well, ladies, I am prepared to let you enlighten me! Let’s set a date. You ladies bring the movies and I’ll provide the munchies. 🙂

  4. OH. MY. GOD. You have never seen Singin’ In the Rain? It is my FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME. I am sorry for the gratuitous use of capslock, but THIS MOVIE IS MARKED IN THE ANNALS OF CINEMA AS THE GREATEST PIECE OF MUSICAL CHOREOGRAPHY PERFORMED BY A HUMAN BEING.

Before I leave, I will SO bring my copy over and share with you the wonder and magic that is Gene Kelly.

  5. I have about half of the ones you haven’t seen yet if you’d like to borrow them – I know Sim would love me for it 🙂
